Anger Island - Petrel Channel |
| We first
visited Anger Island, at the junction of Petrel Channel and Principe
Channel in the summer of 2000. Looking for shelter from the afternoon westerly
we "blew" into Wilson Inlet and found secure anchorage out of the
wind behind the three islands at the eastern side of the basin at the head.
This intricate area of islands and passages deserves a good number of days for
exploration. Look for updates in 2001.
There is good Anchorage in the 8 fathom patch behind the islands at the eastern side of Wilson Inlet. No crabs here but you can jig up a rockfish anywhere. |
